Fishing Report 3-8-14

Now that we have Sprung forward with daylight savings time we have more time to get out and fish in the evenings.

It’s been a long winter here in the Ozarks. Spring is finally starting to show up. The water temperature on Table Rock Lake in the Dam area is 43 to 45 degrees which is about 5 to 6 degrees cooler than where we should be. The fish are just starting to move into the staging areas and more fish will show up as the water temperature continues to rise. There are still a lot of shad dying in the lake and the Bass have some easy picking right now. We have been picking up some good Largemouth on a Jerkbait and the Alabama rig. I’ve been finding them around the deep treetops and around some shallower cedar trees. Secondary points are also holding some fish. If we continue this warming pattern the next couple weeks on Table Rock Lake, the fishing will get real good. If your here on Spring Break and want to get out and enjoy some fishing just give me a call at (417)230-6950 to book a trip.

Till Next Time Good Fishin’
Jamie
